- Verification Data: Camera frames captured during live pose verification
- Payment Information: Billing details processed securely by Stripe or Razorpay (we do not store card numbers)
- Communications: Messages, reports, and support requests you send through the Platform
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you use our Platform, we automatically collect:
- Device Information: Device type, operating system, browser type, unique device identifiers
- Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, swipe actions, time spent on Platform
- Log Data: IP address, access times, error logs
- Cookies: We use cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 8)
1.3 Information from Third Parties
We may receive information from:
- Payment processors (Stripe, Razorpay) — transaction confirmation

3.1 With Other Users
Your profile information (name, age, photos, bio, interests, city) is visible to other users on the Platform. Your exact location (GPS coordinates) is never shared — only your approximate area or city.
3.2 With Service Providers
We share information with trusted third-party vendors who help us operate the Platform:
- Payment Processing: Stripe (international), Razorpay (India)
- Email Delivery: WP Mail SMTP / email service providers
- Hosting: Hostinger (server infrastructure)
- Analytics: Internal analytics only

3.3 For Legal Reasons

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. Specifically:
- Active accounts: Data retained while account is active
- Deleted accounts: Most data deleted within 30 days of account deletion
- Messages: Deleted within 30 days of account deletion
- Verification frames: Deleted within 7 days of review completion
- Payment records: Retained for 7 years as required by financial regulations
- Safety logs: Retained for up to 5 years to prevent banned users from re-registering
5. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
5.1 Access and Portability
You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you by contacting privacy@pairove.com.
5.2 Correction
You can update most of your profile information directly in the app under Edit Profile. For other corrections, contact us.
5.3 Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from Profile Settings. Upon deletion, your profile and messages will be permanently removed within 30 days.
5.4 Opt-Out of Communications
- Push Notifications: Disable in your device settings or Pairove notification settings
- Email Notifications: Use the unsubscribe link in any email we send

5.5 GDPR Rights (EU/EEA Users)

5.7 India — DPDP Act 2023
Users in India have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, including the right to access, correct, and erase personal data. Contact us at privacy@pairove.com to exercise these rights.
6. Security
We take security seriously and implement industry-standard measures to protect your data:
- HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
- Encrypted storage for sensitive data
- Secure password hashing

- Limited employee access to personal data
- Payment data handled exclusively by PCI-DSS compliant processors (Stripe, Razorpay)
However, no method of internet transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
7. Children’s Privacy
Pairove is strictly for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we discover that a minor has created an account, we will immediately terminate that account and delete all associated data. If you believe a minor is using our Platform, please report it to safety@pairove.com.

Our Platform may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before providing any personal information.
11. Profile Verification Data
When you complete our live camera verification:
- Camera frames are captured temporarily for pose verification
- Frames are reviewed by our team to confirm identity
- All verification frames are deleted within 7 days of review
- We do not use facial recognition or biometric databases
- Verification status (verified/not verified) is stored in your profile
12. Location Data
- We use your approximate location to show nearby matches
- Exact GPS coordinates are never shown to other users
- Only your city and country are displayed on your profile (optional)
- You can disable location access in your device settings
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:
- Sending an email to your registered email address
- Displaying a notice on the Platform
Your continued use of Pairove after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
