Refund Policy

At Pairove, we want you to be satisfied with your subscription. This Refund Policy explains our approach to refunds for paid plans purchased on pairove.com. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.


1. General Policy

All subscription purchases on Pairove are generally non-refundable. When you purchase a Plus, Gold, or Platinum subscription, you immediately gain access to all premium features included in your plan.

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You have reviewed the features included in your chosen plan
  • Digital subscription services are delivered immediately upon payment
  • You waive your right to a cooling-off period (where permitted by law) upon accessing premium features

2. When Refunds Are Considered

While our general policy is non-refundable, we will review refund requests in the following situations:

2.1 Technical Issues

If you experience a verified technical error that:

  • Prevented you from accessing premium features you paid for
  • Resulted in a duplicate charge for the same subscription period
  • Caused the service to be completely unavailable for more than 48 consecutive hours

Please contact us within 7 days of the issue with details and screenshots.

2.2 Duplicate or Accidental Purchase

If you were charged twice for the same subscription in the same billing cycle, we will issue a full refund for the duplicate charge upon verification.

2.3 Unauthorized Transactions

If you did not authorize a charge and suspect fraudulent activity, please contact us immediately at billing@pairove.com and also notify your bank or card issuer.

2.4 Legal Requirements

We comply with consumer protection laws applicable in your jurisdiction. Users in the European Union may be entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period under EU consumer law, provided they have not accessed the premium service during that period. Users in India are covered under applicable Consumer Protection Act provisions.


3. Situations Where Refunds Are NOT Provided

We do not provide refunds in the following circumstances:

  • You changed your mind after purchasing
  • You did not find a match during your subscription period
  • You forgot to cancel before the next billing cycle
  • Your account was suspended or terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service
  • You had limited usage of the Platform during your subscription period
  • You are dissatisfied with the number or quality of matches (matching depends on many factors outside our control)
  • You purchased a plan but found it did not meet your expectations after use
  • Annual plans โ€” partial refunds are not provided for unused months

4. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time:

  • Go to Profile โ†’ Subscription Status โ†’ Cancel Plan
  • Or email billing@pairove.com with your registered email and request

Upon cancellation:

  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period
  • You will not be charged for the next billing cycle
  • You will retain access to premium features until the period ends
  • No partial refund is issued for the remaining days of the current period

5. Auto-Renewal

All Pairove subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period. You will be charged the same amount as your original purchase unless you cancel before the renewal date.

We send a renewal reminder email 3 days before your subscription renews. Please ensure your registered email is up to date.


6. Plan Upgrades and Downgrades

6.1 Upgrading

If you upgrade from Plus to Gold or Platinum mid-cycle, you will be charged the prorated difference for the remaining days in your billing period. The upgrade takes effect immediately.

6.2 Downgrading

If you downgrade your plan, the change takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle. You will retain your current plan’s features until then. No refund is issued for the difference in plan prices.


7. Free Trial (If Applicable)

If Pairove offers a free trial period for any plan, you will not be charged during the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your payment method will be charged for the first billing cycle. Free trial periods are available only once per user.


8. Payment Processors

Payments are processed securely through:

  • Stripe โ€” for international users (USD, EUR)
  • Razorpay โ€” for users in India (INR)

Refunds, when approved, are processed back to the original payment method within 5โ€“10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. Pairove is not responsible for delays caused by your financial institution.


9. How to Request a Refund

To submit a refund request:

  1. Email us at billing@pairove.com
  2. Use the subject line: “Refund Request โ€” [Your Registered Email]”
  3. Include:
    • Your registered email address
    • Date of purchase
    • Amount charged
    • Reason for refund request
    • Screenshots (if applicable โ€” e.g., technical error, duplicate charge)
  4. We will respond within 3โ€“5 business days

Refund decisions are made at our sole discretion based on the circumstances of each case.


10. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or card issuer without first contacting us, we reserve the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate your account
  • Contest the chargeback with your financial institution
  • Permanently ban you from the Platform

11. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of Pairove after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
